Overview

Here’s a brief overview of Meghalaya–Kaziranga–Tawang tours:

Meghalaya

Known as the “Abode of Clouds,” Meghalaya is famous for its breathtaking waterfalls, living root bridges, deep valleys, and caves. Destinations like Cherrapunji, Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest village), Dawki River with crystal-clear waters, and Shillong – the “Scotland of the East” – make it a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

Kaziranga National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, Kaziranga is home to the world’s largest population of the one-horned rhinoceros. The park also shelters wild elephants, tigers, swamp deer, and migratory birds. Jeep and elephant safaris offer thrilling wildlife encounters amidst scenic grasslands and wetlands.

Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh)

Nestled in the Himalayas, Tawang is renowned for its Buddhist culture, ancient monasteries, and stunning landscapes. The 400-year-old Tawang Monastery, Indo-China border at Bumla Pass, serene Madhuri Lake, and war memorials make it both spiritually enriching and historically significant. Snow-capped peaks and high-altitude lakes add to its charm.

Together, this tour blends nature, wildlife, culture, and spirituality, making it one of Northeast India’s most diverse and enriching travel experiences.
